Introducing the all new Epic Life SUP Club!
We are really excited to offer our SUP community, the next step in developing your paddling skills, endurance, strength and fitness through our friendly, focused programme.
Join our new Epic Life SUP Club and take on exciting challenges together! We'll help you set personal goals, train effectively and efficiently and boost your confidence!
How will we take you with us?
- Train for race and challenge series across the year: get faster, learn new techniques and improve your fitness, endurance and strength.
- Training Sessions: Our SUP Club will provide weekly training sessions as well as monthly progression sessions to enhance your paddling skills and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you're a seasoned SUP enthusiast or a complete beginner, you'll find a supportive, like minded and encouraging environment to learn and grow.
- Enhance Your Skills: Join our monthly progression sessions and weekly club paddles to improve fitness, knowledge and skills.
- Personalise Your Journey: We'll help you create a customised training plan to achieve your goals and how to conquer them together.
- Grow Stronger: Participate in our annual 10-event ‘ Epic Challenge Series’ between March to December.
- Conquer the Waves: Benefit from dedicated surf and rough water training helping you feel more confident to master challenging conditions.
- Explore New Horizons: Join our guided adventure trips and in inspiring settings learn advanced paddling techniques.
- Be Part of the Team: Participate in 'National Series’ races and challenges and represent our club.
- Stay Connected: Engage with our club community through our WhatsApp groups for updates on weekly training sessions and for when the surf’s up!
- Gear Up: Enjoy exclusive discounts on top-brand paddleboarding equipment.
- Try Before You Buy: Test the latest gear facilitated by partners such as Gladiator and Starboard on our demo trips and sessions.
- Led by the Best: The program will be led by our experienced and highly qualified Epic Life Coaches.
- Club Training: Train together Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings every week (conditions and light allowing)
- First Come First Served: Be at the front of the queue for our exciting day trip paddles…details to follow, and our extended adventures - with the following now confirmed: May 9th-11th Devon guided surf, June 13th-16th Norfolk Broads, July 30th-August 4th Devon Coastline and Estuary paddling, September 22nd-26th rivers coastlines and surf, November 10th-13th guided surf trip Devon/Cornwall
- Join us: Come meet us in January for our ‘Lets Get Motivated’ group challenge to get our fitness journey underway in preparation for commencing our Sup Club program this February!
Where and When?
SUP Club weekly training sessions:
Weekly on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings (Commencing in February, weather and light conditions allowing.)
A chance to paddle and train together experiencing varied conditions between our Epic Life bases at Bodiam, Tonbridge and Hastings.
Progression coaching sessions:
Monthly on Saturdays 8-11am
These sessions are the mainstay of the training and are planned to progress your paddling skills and knowledge and will include essential tutorials via individual video analysis. The sessions will be located in Hastings, Bodiam and Tonbridge to utilise the different locations we have at our disposal and to experience differing conditions.
These will commence 22nd February(/ 22nd/ March / 17th April / 22nd May / 14th June / 17th July / 2nd August / 18th September / 2nd October / 1st November / 6th December.
(Back-up Thursday evening 6-9pm sessions as required 19th April, 24th May, 19th June, 7th July, 7th August, 20th September, 4th October)
Epic Challenge Series:
Participate in 10 exciting events throughout the year, designed to test your limits and inspire you to keep pushing forward. We'll guide you in setting personalised challenges and creating effective training plans to help you get faster, improve endurance and strength. You will be guided and encouraged to take part in organised 3-6km or 10-12km competitive or self fulfilling challenges with other like minded paddlers.
Suggested dates at this time are: March 9th / April 13th / May 11th / June 8th / July13th / Aug 10th / Sep 14th / Oct 19th / Nov 9th / Dec 7th

To get started, please sign and pay a £60 deposit. Easy monthly payments of £30 will then be collected. To proceed, please sign up. A form for bank payment or one off over-the-phone card payment will be subsequently mailed to you
Payable 1st of each Month commencing February of each year.
Please appreciate that as this is a planned, linear training program we must respect our Members. Those who wish to join after February may only do so via paid catch-up training sessions with our Coaches as deemed necessary following a refresher assessment.

Here we organise regular outings and activities, day trips and adventures further afield. The fun has only just begun!
Social Paddles
We offer social sessions, paddle fit and trips out so that you have the chance to meet new people, explore new areas and generally relax on the water. We’re creating a paddling community where people can relax in a social, friendly environment and feel safe out on the water. Kayaks are always welcome too!
Paddle & Pick
We at EpicLife are passionate about keeping our waterways clean from rubbish and plastic waste.
Not only is the increase in the amount of plastic a concern for the environment, it also poses a threat to our wildlife.
We organise regular Paddle & Pick so you can join us for a paddle and see for yourselves the amount of rubbish that can be found on our waterways. On some of our previous clean ups we have found a fridge and a bath tub!
PaddleFit
We run weekly paddle-fit, paddle-chat and progression paddle sessions as well as monthly litter picks, long distance paddles and adventures to different local areas. Each year, we also plan longer paddling and water sport holidays.

SUP Yoga
Find Out MoreThe sessions will run from Tonbridge for 90 minutes and include a short paddle to and from your yoga spot and a 60 minute yoga class with Charlotte Barton.
