What kit will I need?

Please don’t turn up in your best jumper for your adventure with us!

We all like to look our best but being comfortable, warm and relaxed is going to be the best way to enjoy your adventure.

Here’s what we recommend…

 Water

  • Swimwear to go underneath a wetsuit.
  • Old shorts to go over the top of the wetsuit.
  • Sturdy, closed toe shoes (like trainers) / wetsuit boots, shoes you won’t mind getting wet (not crocks or flip flops).
  • A towel to get changed with when you come off the water.

 Land

  • Long sleeves and long trousers are best for outdoor activities.
  • Closed toe shoes (like trainers) for archery, and axe throwing.

Our best advice – comfortable clothes suitable for the weather!

What kit will be provided

Should I bring a drink, snack or lunch?

Yes Please!

All of our sites do have café’s nearby. Our Hastings site is situated by the White Rock Hotel and they have food and drink available on site. River Medway (Tonbridge) site is situated by Tonbridge park which is ideal for picnic and is also near the town, so plenty of food and drink places available. Our River Rother site is more remote but does have nice grass areas to enjoy a picnic.

We recommend you bring a drink to have during or after the activity.

Do I have to stay if I am a parent, carer or guardian?

In short, the answer is no…. but you are always welcome to stay and spectate if you’d like to!

Young people often enjoy the freedom of being away with their friends or taking part in an activity where they’ll make new friends.

Should you decide to pop off elsewhere, we have a Parental Consent Form that we will ask you to complete so we have all your contact details and can get in touch if anything comes up and we need to speak to you.

Can I change or update my booking?

Absolutely!

For any changes you want to make to your bookings, it’s best to speak to us so please call us on either 07377184505 for a chat.

We always try to be as flexible as possible so you can make changes to your booking up to 14 days before the activity date quite easily. If it’s in the 2 weeks before your activity, we will try our best to facilitate your changes but we can’t guarantee anything so please let us know the sooner the better!

What if I have to cancel my booking

Sometimes ‘life’ happens, and we understand that this might mean you’re not able to take part in your original activity adventure that’s been booked.

Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can see if another date is available, or a different activity would be better for you.

However, please do read our Terms and Conditions for full booking details and note that unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the activity.

What if the activity can’t take place for any reason?

Sadly, we can’t control the weather (we know, it’s a surprise but it’s true!).

That means that very occasionally an activity may need to be changed or postponed from our side simply because we’re dependent on weather conditions, particularly the sea.

The good news is… we will always provide an alternate activity where possible, reschedule, or provide a gift voucher/refund.

Can you accommodate individuals with accessibility and/or additional needs?

Yes! We aim to be as inclusive as possible. Occasionally we have to work with you to adapt an activity to your needs but we always try to ensure everyone can share the fun and experience as that’s an essential part of what we do.

All you need to do is talk to us then we’ll find a solution that suits your group, the activity and the conditions.

What are your opening times?

We’re open 9.00am – 5.00pm, 7 days a week, but we may be out having an epic adventure on the water so please leave us a message and we will return your call when back on dry land. You are also welcome to email us on teamepic@epliclife.co.uk
